What is meditation?

Meditation is a simple strategy that can help you to obtain a happier and healthier life.

Meditation means “to know why self”. We can think 60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day so its not surprising this can lead to stress and anxiety and feelings of being overwhelmed. Over time, when this is a constant running theme it can lead to illness, mentally, physically – or both.

You cannot stop your thoughts but you can slow them down. What Meditation does it slows down the fluctuation of running thoughts in the mind.

This creates a space were you can decide what you WANT to think about. This has been scientifically proven to create a sense of calm and peacefulness as well as many other benefits:

Does meditation have anything to do with religion?

Throughout history, meditation has played a large role in many spiritual and religious practices – but in itself, it is not a religion.

Meditation can be practiced by anyone, regardless of religious beliefs.  

Equally, if you do not follow a religion, you needn’t fear that you’ll become religious if you choose to meditate. 

Where do I go to meditate?

You can meditate almost anywhere – you just need to find your comfortable space.

There are no fixed guidelines.  

What type of meditation do you teach?

There are several types of meditation and I teach many, whether it’s 1-2-1 or in a class.

Meditation can be a practical tool backed up by Science or a spiritual experience, which is why I cater to the needs of the individual.
